Thank you for contacting Jungle Fender Flares. It doesn't look like we will have fender flares available for the 05+ Tacomas anytime soon. The difficulty with the "icelandic flares" is the shipping. Most shipping companies would not allow more than one or two flares of that size per package so the shipping price would be outrageous.



I could easily manufacture them if you can get a sample set to me first.

I know this has nothing to do with flares but what kind of brush guard is the one on the taco in the picture?

Specific to those trucks. A vendor on Tacoma World stole the design and is selling them under the company name "Avid Offroad"

Ya I wouldn't use the word "STOLE" either. They won't sell them to people in North America, so someone here decided to make them so North Americans can have them. Pretty SMART!!!

Sure the packaging would be large, but certainly not very heavy. Shipping should not be "outrageous", but it won't be cheap.

Any company worth a damn could and would easily design their own using a borrowed Taco, if producing fender flares is their core competency. Reverse-engineering someone elses "sample" is a piss-poor way to bring a quality part to market because they would be designing in existing sins, as well as no doubt adding their own. JFF should know the Tacoma would be a good market, yet they seem very uninterested.

Nearly all shipping companies charge by cubic volume, not weight. So, I guess it depends what you consider outrageous. If $100 shipping per fender flare seems reasonable for you, than your right, its not outrageous.
