Rewiring guide

Greetings.

I have my 2010 Corolla that I brought to a small shop before to help me rewire something like my foglights to be able to run with my DRL. But for whatever reason, he wired the headlights to be on whenever the car is on.

Sure, the foglights can now be on all the time, but I don't like the idea of running headlights during the day. Plus, my gauges are not to the my liking of brightness.

I've noticed that when I highbeam during the day, the dash would suddenly become like how it used to be before the rewiring. That gave me an idea that I may still have a chance to rewire the entire thing back to factory settings again, but while I'm at it, I'm going to do the independant foglights too.

I wish to ask TN members if anyone is familiar with this rewiring method.

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Why not bring it back to the shop where you had it done and tell them they didn't do it the way you wanted? Have them put it back to factory settings or do it the way you want it. If thats a real shop, they should do it because the customer isn't happy with their work.

we wouldnt know where to start in helping you "rewiring" because we dont know what the shop did to wire everything in the first place.
