First - I have done a forum search but can not find the info I am looking for. I know it's likely here but I can not find it.
I have an 05 Prerunner.. It just threw the CEL. The ORiely guy who read the code said the O@ sensor needed replaced.
I am certain there is more that one, but can not find info related to their location, how many there are, or how to determine which one it is.
Any help?
Thanks in advance.

You didn't tell us what engine you have, but there are 2 or 4 of them. Two for each bank of cylinders, located on your exhaust pipe in front of and in back of the first catalytic converter.
If you have the code number that will tell you exactly which one it is. Sensors do go bad, but you should check to see if the wiring harness or connector didn't get dinged up first.

You have one before and after the cat on each side of the engine or exhaust system. This code is probably set due to a bad sensor (sort of common on our trucks and I heard there was a TSB out on this, but I haven't seen it) on the front passenger side, but could really be set for a ton of reasons.
Heres another thread he had to replace both front sensors.

If the truck is running good, and you don't have much knowledge or scan equipment to test the sensor and monitor it. I would say you should go buy the 80 dollar sensor and put it on. Very, very good chance thats your problem.
